If you ever get good flame video, or pics, you can sell that shit to the TV stations for probably $75-$100 per station. So be on the look out when you’re cruising around. Which obviously, you are!

One time when I was working the morning show, I came in 3 hours early because I shot some awesome video of a house that had caught fire three down from Renee’s. The producer (the guy right before Brent) didn’t air it because he “couldn’t find the story.”

It was awesome footage, too. Flames shooting out, firefighters running around. Good b-roll stuff for a simple VO.

Al found out about it after the show and got really mad he didn’t run it.

I remember that… Yeah, that stuff is gold, as you know. That producer was a dummy for not running it! It doesn’t matter if there isn’t a story, it’s good frickin’ video!!! A simple VO, exactly!

My station, here in Portland, paid $400.00 CASH to a 16 year old kid that shot the Vancouver, WA “tornado” last month. It was about a 30 sec. clip!!! Insane.

    “EAT IT”

    What does that mean?

    It’s a clue somehow, I know it.

You’ve discovered the THIRD clue in my year long blog puzzler! Find the other 47 to decipher the answer to this question:

The character “Jerry Maguire” in the film “Jerry Maguire” is played by THIS actor.

Oh I know this one. I KNOW THIS ONE.

    Dakota Fanning!!!!

Right, fire and then I saw the carneceria and I thought, that’s the story. There’s a carneceria! And then I saw you were in LA and I’m in Portland and I grew resentful of you with your Mexican food riches. So typical of LA to brag about their fires and their Mexican food.

I can say this because some of my best friends are Los Angelitos. I was a Maliboozian for 11 months. We had Lily’s out there. You should try it. Point Dume shopping center. We also had Mel Gibson and Britney Spears. Not to make you feel bad or anything.

Lily’s? First, I’ll Google it. Then I’ll Yelp it. Then I’ll Google MAP it. Then I’ll ride out to Malibu and try it.

If Mel ever calls me back.

I’d take the motorcycle, not the vespa. Too far. I broke my femur on a lambretta. No kidding!

Take PCH. Go left at the Point Dume Arco where Kid Rock gets his gas. Go right in the shopping center. Ask someone where Lily’s is because it’s total locals only, bra. Lily is there and she makes all the food from scratch. Try the chips and her hot sauce. She’s real stingy with it, but it’s worth her disdain for a second cup.

And when you’re finished, keep going on Heathercliff, make a left on the second street, then a left on the next street and in the cul-de-sac you’ll see a travel trailer in an old orchard and that’s where I lived. You can google map that.

    Now I’m really interested…

Oh yay! Now, we’re all friends!

And now I want mexican food.
