now you can’t have it my man!

After 3 months, I got my hair cut. (almost rhymed)

It is still long.

Tomorrow I get parts, I get shirts, I get nervous.

I made the most DELICIOUS GARDENBURGER this side of veggie-ville.

I’m listening to Robert Pollard’s “Coast to Coast Carpet of Love” even though I initially gave my love to “Standard Gargoyle Decisions.” Perhaps it is that “Pnumbra” song. I named my fish Penumbra… but I wanted to be correct in the spelling. What a square.

I love E.T.

Enough!

In conclusion, the rest of this week will be very busy. OH YEAH I finally watched “Leaving Las Vegas.” Wow, that is a pretty good movie. But whoa, you know? Whoa. You know.

I’m on a Kurosawa kick. YO, OZU FANS, DON’T HATE!

Ok, I really need to go to bed now.

We are fans of Kurosawa’s Dreams–I first saw it in an art film class back at the UO.

Throne of Blood and, of course, Rashomon are also excellent. Kurosawa based Rashomon on a 1922 short story called In A Grove. It is a tight and interesting little story that doesn’t wrap things up as neatly as Rashomon. Definitely worth a read to give you a greater insight on the film. I also recently saw Leaving Las Vegas for the first time and I loved it. What I loved is what an absolute mess they both were, but how they were able to accept each other as they were. How many couples actually pull that off? But yeah, whoa. I mean, there have been times where I’ve thought I maybe drink too much, but fuck.
